Once Angel Jibraeel (Alaihis Salam) came and asked our prophet
(saw)," What is Imaan(faith)?". Then prophet (saw) replied "Imaan is to
believe in Allah and His angels, His books, His messengers and the day
of judgment and that fate (Taqdir) good and bad is given by Allah".
Beliefs of Islam in five thighs:
1. Allah (God).
2. Angels.
3. Kitaabs (Books of Allah).
4. Prophets (Messengers of Allah).
5. Qiyamat (The last day).
1. Allah (subhanahu wata’ala): Allah is single. He is
powerful; He created the earth, the skies, the sun, the moon, the
stars and the whole universe. He was not formed by anyone. He does not
depend on anyone, all depend on him. No one resembles Allah and He
resembles none. He is clean from all faults. He does not have eyes, nose
or body like that of human being. Belief to Allah is the main beliefs
of Islam.
2. Angels: The second beliefs of Islam is Angels. Allah has
formed Angels out of light and gave them various duties to perform. We
do not know their accurate number. We recognize of four famous Angels.
They are:
Hazrat Jibraeel (Alaihis-Salam) brought Allah’s books, Orders and
messages to all the prophets. He was also sent to help the prophets at
times and fight beside their enemies.
Hazrat Michaaeel (a.s) is in accusing of food and rain. Other Angels
work under him who is in charge of clouds, the seas the rivers and
winds. He gets the order form Allah. He then orders the others under his
authority.
Hazrat Azraeel(a.s) takes away life with the order of Allah. He is in
alleging of death. Many Angels work under him. Some get away the lives
of good persons whilst others looking extremely fearful take away the
lives of sinners and disbelievers.
Hazrat Israafeel (a.s) will blow the Soor (Trumpet) on the Day of
Judgment. The sound will destroy and kill all that is on earth and in
the skies. Once he blows for the second time all will come to life with
the order of Allah.
There are two Angels at all times with every person in lives. One
writes all his Good Deeds whilst the other writes all his Bad Deeds. The
are know as Kiraman-Kaatibeen.
Jinn: Are religious beings formed out of fire….who is ranked stuck
between angels and men and be capable of be either good or bad. Satan is
a
Jinn and not a fallen angel according to Islam.
Satan: A Jinn who refused to fall face down before Adam after he was created. He is the person in charge of evil ones in
the world. Al Quran- (Sura
18:50)
3. Kitaabs (Books of Allah).
Allah has revealed His Books to various prophets for the guidance of
their nation. The large books are called Kitaabs whilst the small ones
are called Sahifas. There are important
beliefs of Islam is books of Allah. The four Kitaabs that were revealed are the:
i) The Touraat.
ii) The Jaboor.
iii) Inzeel.
iv) Holy Quran.
The Touraat (Old Testament) was given to Hazrat Moosa (Alaihis-Salaam).
The jaboor (Pslams) were given to Hazrat Dawood (Alaihis-Salaam).
The Inzeel (Gospel) was given to Hazrat Isaa (Alaihis-Salaam).
The Holy Quran the final Book of Allah was revealed to Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa “Sallallaho Alaihe-wa-Sallam”(Peace be upon him).
These are books mentioned in the Koran as God’s Word but most Muslims
feel the current books are corrupt. Intended for this reason Allah gave
Mohammed the
“Quran”. Many Muslims try on the road to find Mohammed in the Bible and feel he is referred to in Deuteronomy.
4. Prophets (Messengers of Allah).
Allah sent many messengers to this world from time to time to direct
mankind. These messengers were identified as Rasools and Nabis. First
Messengers was
Hazrat Adam (Alaihis-Salaam) whilst the Last was Hazrat Muhammad (Sallallaho-Alaihe-wa-Sallam)
During Islam Allah has spoken all the way through frequent prophets
down through the centuries, including Hazrat Adam (Alaihis-Salaam),
Hazrat Noah (Alaihis-Salaam), Hazrat Ibrahiam(Alaihis-Salaam), Hazrat
Moses(Alaihis-Salaam) and Hazrat Isaa(Alaihis-Salaam). The beginning
prophet and the last prophet is Hazrat Muhammad
(Sallallaho-Alaihe-wa-Sallam), he is the seal of the prophets. No more
prophets will come after him. He was the final prophet of Allah. In the
Holy Qur’an Allah mentioned our Nabi Hazrat Muhammad
(Sallallaho-Alaihe-wa-Sallam) as Khaatamun Nabiyeen whice means that he
is the Last of all the Nabis.

5. Qiyamat (The Day of Judgment):
Beliefs of Islam five option is The day of judgment. The prophet
Hazrat Muhammad (Sallallaho-Alaihe-wa-Sallam) said, the two feet of the
son (or daughter) of Adam will not move from near his (or her) lord on
the Day of Judgment. Qiyamat (the Day of Judgment) until he(or she) is asked about Five Matters:
i) About his or her life, how he or she spent it.
ii) About his or her youth, how he or she took care of it.
iii) About his or her wealth, how he or she earned it.
iv) How to spend his or her wealth.
v) About that which he or she acted upon form the knowledge that he or she acquired.
Everyone will be resurrected to situate before Allah to be judged in
the final Day. Persons who follow Allah and Mohammed will go to
Paradise
others will go to Hell. Everyone will pass all the way through Hell and
even some Muslim will expend time in Hell till their sins are burned
away and Hazrat Muhammad (Sallallaho-Alaihe-wa-Sallam) intercedes for
them.
Beliefs of Islam means complete faith in Allah and His prophet Muhammad (saw).
