How to pray Salat is following way:
1) Firstly stand on the prayer mat (Musallah) in face to Qiblah (Kabba) in Suide Arab and read “A’uzubilla” and “Bismillah” and the dual in full. Then make the intention (Niyyah) for the prayer and then say “Allahu-akbar” (Allah is the Greatest), by lifting both hands up to the ears, for women up to the shoulders. This is called Takbir-e-taharima.You start prayers with "Takbeer" raising your hands to the level of your ears.
2) Then bring both hands down and put against the stomach by placing the right hand on the left hand just below the navel. For women put the hands on the chest and recite Sana (sub-hanaka), after “A’uzubilla” and “Bismillah” and the dual in full.
3) Then Recite Suratul Faatiha (alhamdu lillah) and any other Surah or Qiratform the Quran. Then go to Ruku (bow down) saying “Allahu-Akbar”. And grab the knees with the hand andrecite, “sub-hana-rabiyal-azim” 3 times.
4) After that stand up form the Ruku saying “Sami-allah-hu-liman-hamidah”, once, then stand up straight for few seconds and say “Rabbana lakal hamd”, then go to sajidah(prostrate) saying “Allahu-Akbar” first, by bending the knees, same time grabbing the knees with the hands and knees down on the floor slowly.
5) After that put both hands on the floor 1 and ½ feet away form the knees, then place the face on the floor between the hands first touching the nose then the forehead and recite “Sub-haana-rabbiyal’ ala”, 3 times.
6) Then rise form the sajidah saying “Allahu-Akbar” and sit upright with the knees bent by sitting on the left foot . Leave the right foot in standing position by bending the toes towards the Qiblah and place both hands above the knees. Sit on this position for few seconds and recite “Alla-hum-magh firli-warhamne-wahdini”. Then go to second sajidah and recite “Sub-hana-rabbiyal-ala” 3 times.
Than you raise your head saying "Allahu-akbar", seat yourself on your left foot and straight up your right foot in a vertical position then say "Rabbi-ghfir-lee" one, two or three times, which means (My Lord! forgive me).
Then perform Ruku, Sajidah and everything as the previous Rakats. After the last sajidah sit upright as explained for the sitting between the last sajidah. Then recite Attahiyatu, Allahumma- salli-ala, Allahumma-barik-ala and Allahumma-inni-zwalamtu in full. Then say “Assalamu-alaikum-wa-rahmatullah”, first turning the face to the right shoulder then to the left shoulder once. Then Salah is by completed.
7) After finishing with the last seating (Tasahhud) turn your head to the right and say "Assal amu alaikum-wa-rahmathullah" (pe ace and the mercy of Allah be on you) one time.
Then you turn your head to the left and say"Assalamu alaikum-wa-rahmathullah" (peace and the mercy of Allah be on you) onetime.
If you wish then read Tasbeeh and Duaas. It is Sunnah.Duaa is the brain of the whole actions and after Farj prayer; it is a special time for acceptance of duaa. If you wish to prayer monajat (want to Allah).It is not compulsory prayer. It is only duaa to want Allah for give us.
NOTE : (i) After that stand up for the second Rakat saying “Allah-akbar” and put the hand against the stomach, same as previous Rakat then recite Surahtul Fatihah and any other Surah or Qirat from the Quran.Then go to Ruku (bow down). Then stand up from the Ruku saying “Sami-allah-hu-liman-hamidah”, once and do everything same as previous Rakats.
(ii) After that go to sajidah saying “Allahu-akbar” and do both sajdah as previous Rakat. After the second sajdah sit upright as explained for the sitting between two sajdah then recite Tashahood Attahiyyatu (Attahiyyatu-wathihitu-wathibatu…”up to “Abduhu-wa-rasuluhu”(only for 4 Rakats prayer).
(iii) If praying 2 Rakats prayer then recites Tashaood in full. (Attahiyatu, Allahumma- salli-ala, Allahumma-barik-ala and Allahumma-inni-zwalamtu).
Then stand up form the third Rakats saying “Allahu-akbar” and put the hands against the stomach and recite sutatul Fatihah and any other Surah or Qirat from the Quran. Then go to Ruku (bow down) saying “Allahu-akbar” and do everything same as previous Ruku.
After that stand up from Ruku saying “Sami-allah-hu-liman-hamidah”, once and do everything same as previous Rakats. Then go to sajidah saying “Allahu-akbar”. Do everything sane as the previous sajidah (prostrate).
After that stand up for 4 Rakats saying “Allahu-akbar” and put the hands as previous Rakatsthen recite Suratul fattiha and add any other Surah or Qirat from the Quran.
(iv) If a Salah consists of three or four rakahs, when you sit after the second rakah only the Tasahhud is recited and at the end of last rakah. Durood Sharif and Dua-e-Masura also added to it.
